I've got a vitomax or something, similar size (like a handheld) and it's good for maybe 10-15psi depending on the existing tire pressure, and probably a couple cranks on a 4.0L V8 from my experience with it. I've got two of them in the trunk just in case, and I've managed to use them a couple of times, so worth it I guess, but I wouldn't be trying to drive cross country relying on them.
