>>110240300I'd prefer a high level language in a lot of cases but blueprint makes iterating ideas very fast itself and is fun to work with once you get used to it and know how to structure things so it doesn't turn into complete spaghetti nightmare. I pretty much prototype everything in BP then translate it into C++ when it gets too hairy, or just trim some of the heavier bits off with C++ BP helper libraries. Using both BP and C++ in tandem is so satisfying in my opinion and it's sad they're doing away with it. UE4 was the last good thing Epic ever did. I'd much rather live in a visual programming world than the cuck coding world we live in now.
