this guy figured out how to leak your exact location from any video with sound using the Doppler curves of nearby airplanes

Yeah but I'm deaf

Doesn't bother me

*snore*

Neat. Is this exact technique new or what? I recall there being something similar to this.

I'm bored too anon, but this looks interesting. I don't have time to watch the video right now but if there's a paper somewhere I'd be willing to read a bit about it before going to bed.
>>
>>110232651
Yeah true I guess...... *hiccup*
>>
anon posts a vocaroo and we 'oxx him

>>110232521
This isn't as impressive as anons figuring out where a faggy flag was based on weather, the sky, and passing planes all from a shitty webcam feed.
>>
>>110232521
YT needs an automatic high pass filter. I binge stupid bullshit with not even very good studio headphones and it's amazing how many channels have low frequency shit banging around that whoever edited the video probably couldn't hear on their super shitty gayming headset.
>>
>>110232521
What nearby airplanes?
>>
>>110232521
Saw it, I wonder how log glowfags did use it before that.
If this becomes popular I'd expect a bunch of influencers being doxxed.

Dont worry about it goyim

well good thing 90%+ of phones have ai noise supression enabled by default
>>
>>110232705
Or when they don't check their audio and one persons audio comes out one speaker while the other ones comes out the other speaker.
>>
>>110232705
or when the editor clearly hasn't noticed their speakers/headphones are turned way up so the video is basically rendered at 20% volume
>>
>>110232589
>I recall there being something similar to this.
you're probably thinking of analyzing the electrical noise in microphone audio since it can give away information about local power infrastructure

A DOPPLER CURVE JUST FLEW OVER MY HOUSE

>>110233258
i remember that, picked up 50/60hz hum can be used to locate someone based on localised minor variations in that frequency

>fake shit that conveniently emboldens schizophrenics to be too afraid to ever make videos or any audio recording/use a voice chat/etc. so they continue being lonely retarded shut-ins prime for the fbi to groom into committing crimes that just so happen to coincide with whatever law the elite want passed
>>
>>110232521
so you need the exact date and approximate location to do this, yawn
>>
>>110232683
It's way more impressive. That required video footage and driving around. This one lets you locate basically any audio recording.
>>
>>110233443
I haven't looked into it since I don't care however I would assume it goes off the video timestamp and air traffic records to decern what kinds of planes were nearby.
This will become less effective as airlines continue minimizing their fleet types. We used to have a massive diversity in plane type based on the route but now just about everything is done with a turbofan twin.
>>
>>110232589
>Is this exact technique new or what?
lol no. it's an ancient technique known about for best part of a century.
>>
>>110233469
That's part of it but it also uses the time gap between two planes flying by.
>>
>>110233469
the change in direction and altitude modify the curve as it approaches the microphone/radar/whatever. if you were tracking the plane over a certain distance (flightradar, military/civilian radar), you can map the curve recorded in the signal to something that resembles the flight path
>>
>>110233303
>fake shit
i can see how it'd work. plane sounds are pretty recognisable. all real-time plane traffic is readily accessible, so just hearing a plane at all and knowing the time the video was taken instantly narrows the location down to near where a plane is at that time, you can then use the doppler shift of that sound to further pinpoint where the recording is relative to a plane, but you'd need multiple plane flybys to really narrow things down to a particular location. like just two flybys would probably rule out most planes.
obviously this'd require you to live not terribly far from an airport to have multiple plane flybys in relatively short videos
>>
Can you just add random plane noises to your audio to get around this?
>>
niggas on /g/ acting like microphones are more sensitive than a transgender's feelings
>>
>>110233560
>obviously this'd require you to live not terribly far from an airport to have multiple plane flybys in relatively short videos
airport, busy air corridors make it easier. same technique can be used in the middle of nowhere with 1 plane. and using 2026 digital signal processing it's more than doable.
>>
>>110233577
throw off the doxtroons by recreating the plane audio from a different place on earth
>>
>>110233577
you don't add anything. you simply remove the audio or mute it until you hear no more air traffic. you can filter it out but you end up removing mid/high range frequencies that you want to keep
>>
>>110233594
doesn't work like that. anyone investigating the video will be able to see clearly that a low iq retard dubbed something onto the audio track (digitally or externally using a mic+audio source)
>>
>>110233586
if you have some other way to have some idea of where the video was taken you might be able to use just one plane. actually thinking about it you have to know the time already, if you know the timezone too then you've already removed all planes outside of that timezone. coupled with other basic observations a single plane could be enough. depends on the video contents of course
>>
>>110233602
sarcasm my nigga
>>
>>110232589
pretty sure i remember seeing a video about them curves about at least a decade back
>>
>>110233602

exactly
