It'd be nice if there were a (de facto standard) protocol for communicating with imageboards without using the web.
Instead of loading all the HTML/CSS/JS, you'd just need the post content, thumbnails, metadata, etc.
Honestly, if I had a dedicated imageboard browser, I'd still keep it in the traditional yotsuba style.
