After reading headlines about GPU and RAM shipment crate heists, I realized theft is good for the market if the supply is artificially scarce.The image is that supply is truly scarce and thus consumers can not easily buy in. But we see companies getting them on contracts that need to be honored. And there is doubt that the vendors can't keep up with supply considering they are only gaining unlimited money from every part of the world while also ramping up their operations seemingly everywhere. So the idea crossed my mind that the products lost to theft are actually just going to instantly be replaced since the scarcity may be phony/manufactured. They will just produce more within their intentionally low supply targets.
