It's amazing that it can beat out most of the open weight models and blows out the rest of them in Pareto efficiency. I wonder how many parameters it is. There is a possibility that it is a "small" 1T parameter model.

if you think about it, law itself is a programming language. not a very big one, at that. provinces and counties are literally just mapping data, essentially just numbers at their core. you could model canada not only as a physical shape but as the representation of the law itself. there are recent studies on loopholes of german law that treat it this way, studying it as though it was a script with exploits. because it is.

Back when I made it, I eventually settled with this (there are more variants, depending on the direction) after like 10 reprompts to get shit done.

Your's looks pretty good. Question is where I could use it. I just used most of my weekly volume to generate a library of common chemistry/physics objects as library (with over 200 objects + variants), so I don't have to deal with overlapping/floating SVG abominations as much. I often use models with moving parts, so Opus discouraged me to use gen stuff since it said SVG is better for what I'm doing.
>>
>>110264294
yeah that seems like the best way to go about it. keeping a consistent style with image gen and getting moving parts reliable is weird and wacky. better to keep it svg for now, even though the token burn is probably wild.

>even though the token burn is probably wild.

It is, that's why I'm usually running out of tokens on Fridays, despite resetting on Wednesday morning. Hence getting a library to reduce that shit by a good amount, because drawing + several prompts of redrawing to fix shit is both time- and token-intensive.

Particle simulations are also a bitch to make. One of my first projects when I started vibe-coding was making an interactive simulation that explains how electrical resistance arises in a current-carrying conductor, which turned out pretty satisfying.

In my latest project, I'm trying to use the particle model to explain why water and fat/gasoline separate and can't mix. But getting to the point where it actually becomes a meaningful, working model that's visual enough for my students to understand is a total bitch - and it burns tokens like a furnace.

That's gay and overdone. We're fully digital school with everybody having iPads, so I'm making fully interactive stuff for my students.

Besides, it pisses me off how AI is currently taught to teachers, e.g.

> go on physics teacher professional development
> first task is vibe-coding a physics educational game
> their suggestion: using fucking free Google Gemini 3 for it
> turns out to be complete dogshit (as expected)
> a bit later show of some of my early stuff that I've vibe-coded within 2 weeks with no idea what I'm doing
> they're flabbergasted what you can do when you aren't completely retarded

At the end of November, I will be presenting on vibe coding at a chemistry teacher professional development event. That's why I'm trying to push the boundaries and working on a model kit where even retards can vibe code something usable with very little effort.

Yeah, it won even the German school award many years ago (way before my time there) since it was one of the very first German schools pushing the concept.

That's actually cool as fuck. Not 100% what I'm aiming for (mainly because the level is too high compared to what I teach), but certainly a good inspiration. I already have a whole bunch of 3D-modelled molecules, so i might go into that direction.

What kind of prompt did you feed Argon? Claude should do so much better at this kind of stuff than Argon, so I'm actually excited to cook up some kind of library/skill (based on three.js) that i can generally use once my weekly Claude volume resets next week.

hello friends, i have tried vibe coding with opencode and deepsex a few months ago and it wasnt qute there for me.
Now i was having issues with one side project and decided to fire it up, just to see what happens, wtf happened?

opencode feels so much more invasive now, i remember before it was fairly constrained, now its go in all sorts of directories reading my files and even SSH'ed into my server (???) and started inspecting stuff. I didnt tell it to do any of that and didnt touch anything in my configuration.

is that normal? can i turn it down a bit? seems sus as shit

i've been using for like a decade
https://github.com/Kagami/boram
it's the only simple re-encoder which has video preview so you simply click start/stop and make clips with 1 frame accuracy + you can select area with mouse to crop video + it has raw ffmpeg args so you can just take it and apply to any file or modify presets. the simplest usage is just inputting 4/5MB limit and pressing encode. i don't even bother stripping audio because 4chanXT does it by itself and i also have vibecoded feature which can auto-upload audio to catbox to make a sound=[...].webm
all of these are just ffmpeg wrappers with GUI and always lack features which would make GUI actually needed. if all you want is mp4->webm you can make a simple script and add it to context menu so you just right click on a video file and get an encoded version this way without having to open anything

Despite everything about vibecoding being aislop.
It makes thing easier if you know what you're doing.
The problem remains, AI is the hand with high IQ people is an excellent tool.
Otherwise it's just another brainrot generator.

For example, My ISP provide IPTV through their own web UI.
The player is shit, and the site fucking slow to load.
But all the requests were being done over API, and I could see the actual stream.
I can waste several hours studying how the API works, fiddle with different tools to parse the obfuscated requests, and finally get a bash script working.
Or I could ask whatever AI for specific problem and the possible workaround and then finalize a working script.
That basically use TUI and mpv to play IPTV.

>For the Markov analysis, I'll track transitions in connection states across learning epochs—new, weak, retained, strengthened, weakened, and pruned. That gives us an empirical transition model, not just a final synapse count. We'll also keep the classifier's held-out results separate from the structural statistics.

I have claude happily reverse engineering one of my childhood games right now, using rea, because I have an excess of tokens I need to burn before reset. I've yet to even be degraded to 4.8, much less cockblocked entirely.

There is no need to concern oneself with worse models when one can just use better models.
>>
anyone else feel like opus token limits got massively lowered? i am having it do the exact same task i had it do a week or two ago, and it's burned twice as much of whatever the fuck my nebulous limit is
>>
>>110267481
not in particular but if you're getting cache misses that will happen
>>
>>110267423
Luna is "I need hundreds of millions of tokens and cant' use deepseek" model, meant for your customer's API usage n shit. There's little use for it if you actually develop shit (use the good models) or if you can use chinkmodels (use deepseek)

If it ever starts using subagents it will rape your usage. Even if it's just using 2 subgents, it feels like instead of 2-3x the usage it's actually 10x the usage.
I have it in my agents.md to not use subagents except for the most challenging of tasks and to ask me beforehand. Such is the life of a $20 pleb.

hey, guys. i'm a software dev and i only recently started using ai tools. job doesn't allow ai, so i have the $20 claude plan to experiment with on my own time.

maybe i'm using it wrong, but how do you get these models to stop adding a ton of unnecessary abstractions and scaffolding that clutter the codebase for little gain?

i spend a lot of time reviewing the model's code changes and go back and forward with the ai to come up with a simpler solution that works just as well, but code reviews aren't easy and they are a huge bottleneck to how much throughput i'm getting from these ai tools.

is there a way to have these models do better so that i can "trust" their output more, so i spend less time in code reviews? i already have the mattpocock skills which have my agent do TDD and grilling which is great, but that doesn't stop it from coming up with subpar solutions for anything that isn't trivial.

Why don't you stop reviewing to get simpler solutions when the complex one works fine?

I wonder why.

i asked sa'argoon and it says it's using an agentic process to scan the transcript and metadata first and pick out what's relevant to the prompt, and what needs to be routed & allocated to what part of its mixture of experts.
