I've been told that vibecoders are becoming millionaires, but I can't find their software anywhere.
Fortnite is vibecoded now, UE6 is going to be too. Also every AI is vibecoded
>>110265201That's nice, I hope someone can answer my question, though.
>I've been toldand you will continue to be told, frogshitter.
>>110265196Your whole operating system is vibecoded. Even your drivers.
>>110265196>where is ai slop ware thread #4567>posts examples>NOOO!!! N-}NOT LIKE THAT!!!
>>110265217I did answer your question. Fortnite is an award-winning software, the vibecoder is a millionaire and you can find it in Epic Game Store. Hope that clears it up
>>110265196Why would they become millionaires? If vibe coding is as powerful as they say then vibe coders have close to no value since anyone can do it.
>>110265196Who the fuck give awards to software?
>>110265196Look, nobody codes by hand anymore. Nobody. It's not being done. Nobody is learning how to code either, not after the very first time they let an agent rip on a webgame or smth.Vibecoding isn't a thing anymore, its just agentic coding. That's it, that's the industry now. I don't care how many people deny it, they do it too, if their money comes from software.
>>110265554I am senior and I program the normal way and the only junior on my team does not use LLMs for code generation.
>>110265554why do all aishills talk like this
>>110265561You are going to lose your job to someone making code half as good as yours at 10x the speed and a quarter of the price. No, nobody cares about technical debt. >>110265565idk lol
>>110265561>junior on my team does not use LLMs for code generation.Lol of course he does, he is just keeping it a secret for now, you are probably using it too.
>>110265554>Vibecoding isn't a thing anymore, its just agentic codingYeah, haven't seen any vibe coding in months now. Those that do are fresh juniors or anti ai tards who had to eventually use AI because their delivery was slow.
>>110265593The only code generation I've ever done with the help of AI is once I modified one single function with it and that code was something that only ran once to generate something else and it's not in production.>>110265580Ok, I'm actively being headhunted.
>>110265614You are a relic of an ancient past. Better aquire agentic coding skills fast or in few months you will find yourself unemployed
>>110265561Your software is going to get hacked by someone who uses AI. You're a security threat
>>110265561All my seniors ran out of their assigned tokens and had to use mine(I barely used one tenth of it by the end of the month). I just witnessed a guy with less experience than me who is AI slopmaxxed get promoted. I wonder if /g/tards live in a separate dimension where they don't have to worry about delivery time, version release and appraisals. That or they're lying out of their teeth.
>>110265623There are no skills involved beyond grasping how LLMs work, and very few people even know what a token is.
>>110265625Your product will eventually become so maintainable you will not even be able to deploy security patches.
>>110265614I believe you, actually. Look, GOOD senior devs will be needed for a long time still, but your niche will keep shrinking, and eventually your most valuable skillsets will be obsoleted. You will probably have a role as tard-wrangler for a long time. But writing code by hand is already not something that brings any value to your work. I understand why it pisses you guys off, I do.
>>110265614Btw, when was that? More than 3 months ago? Lmao
>>110265698why do all aifags talk like this tho
>>110265201you mean fortnite is hybrid vibe- and traditional coded, same as UE6?
>>110265717Honestly its because we spend so much time yapping at LLMs that we take on their mannerisms. Its gonna get worse, too. Just wait until the kids who never knew a world without AI get online
>>110265547>Who the fuck give awards to software??
>>110265561same where I work, the senior doesn't vibe code, I and other 2 juniors don't vibe code, my whole frontend department doesn'T vibe code, we have codex from the company but nobody actually uses it lol, we still code by hand and I love it
>>110265561The amount of seethe this single reply got lol
>>110265554If nobody is learning how to code, then wouldn't they be funneled into vibecoding rather than agentic coding?
>>110265865Something doesn't become true just because so many people seethe at it bro. Flat Earthists cause far more people to seethe than this but that doesn't make their delusions real.
>>110265644Still stuck in the>heh AI will NEVER improve beyond the current pointmindset? It doesn't even need to maintain anything for long, it can just rewrite shit from scratch once it's too convoluted
>>110265884For a long time I though vibe coding was sort of just doing it for fun, coding at home for 24/48 hours straight, staying awake by consuming large amounts of caffeine. Apparently i was wrong, vibecoding was just prompting
>>110265938When they invented that term the first definition I had in my head was "Oh, vibe-coding must mean coding without caring about the health of your architecture" and I guess I was partially right.
>>110265884Idk man, I just started making my first project a couple days ago, and I naturally started with the second definition, simply by asking Claude to teach me best practices. Now I have a github repo and everything, all the version are neatly tagged, its honestly fun. The research folder alone is like a 100kb, with sources out the ass. I mean, I'm sure the sim will suck, but so what, its fun. And I always wanted to see a strategy game that simulated how an actual small group close up fight happens
