Bespoke datagram formats, cross-platform timers with ~nanoseconds and ~microseconds resolution, client/server structure fitting my needs; I've learned Fable minimizes my headaches juggling these requirements and actually lets me have milestones in days rather than weeks.

It seems much more likely that they just reduce compute to prepare for the new model and reduced compute makes models look stupid.
