AI really killed Graphic Design as a profession
uh, no.
>>463696it was killed by ux bafflegabbers and agencies performing clown shows, who do month long research, only to deliver a subpar design
Not true

Can AI make a real vector graphic instead of the ass raster for logo?
>>463696AI is numb in the brain and forgets everything you tell it
AI killed this board
>>463696well some of us is still getting paid for freelance work just not as much these days if im honest
>>463705I would go even further back to the early 2010's with templates. Less businesses hired independent graphic designers and instead outsourced to services like Microsoft Publisher. Currently it's Canva pushing for cookie cutter templates that's killing a lot of the creative industry. After all, why hire an artist when you can do the work faster by putting a spreadsheet into a pick and place service? AI is just the extension of that thought, make design "easier" because when everyone's a designer... No one is.
>>463696In a round about way you could say yes. You need to be a “digital designer” more so than just a graphic designer nowadays. you’re able to network better when you can do graphic design, motion design, rendering, music etc. I couldn’t imagine being a successful designer now without being able to render my own assets via 3D or AI or whatever

the farm animal herd the economy supported ?
>>463696I thought that in 2023 but now people find out they can't use a 1024x1024 image as print and frustrate themselves unable to generate just a simple line of text, I think AI showed it could not replace me at least.I do cheat, I generate some elements to get the whole idea but it's inevitable, we got to work to get quality.>>463721AI users are retards. It's like someone who think they can build their house if it's just laying bricks. EASY NO SKILLS REQUIRED! Only a few grands in bricks and plasterboard, after a floor of concrete
>>463696it's going to kill people FOR REALhttps://m.youtube.com/watch?v=OHQRo3Uz_VQ
>>463696Not completely but yeah, that new ChatGPT image 2 is insane, I use it to make flyers when I get requests at work. I already saw some chick that's not a graphic designer using it and trying to rub my face in it. I probably have less than 2 years left before I'm fired or the career is just completely done. The only thing it can't really do is specialized things, like using branding and fonts for the company I work for, making a booklet etc...so right now it's a life saver for knocking out posters and flyers, but soon it will be a career ender, probably with the next release of Nano Banana
>>463857AI can do everything you listed, so same boat really
>>463712
>>463935You can upscale with AI.It's literally a feature in photoshop.>AI users are retards. You are a graphic designer who doesn't even know how to use their own tool set professionally.
>>463696only if you are bad at it.
>>463696AI is still a bit thick.
