I draw through Ibis Paint X on my mobile device using my fingers. My pieces are still very inconsistent since the basic fundamentals of drawing haven't been completely mastered. I have a particular difficulty structuring an efficient study routine to improve my skills. Boxes and varied shapes in perspective are a fundamental step to simplify and build the foundation of characters and sceneries. Nonetheless, I don't know the best way to understand the totality of three-dimensional forms.

The next step is to learn anatomy, notice what shapes give anatomic parts their 3d relief, relate them to one another and practice the conclusion. For this you must draw from life, and be very critical about it. You don't need a structured routine, you need to keep at it for months, because your neurons grow during sleep and as long as you train your eye and your hand, the neurons will refine your judgement.
>>464169Your art for the most part (given you're drawing with a fucking finger like a heathen) is fine, just some perspective / anatomy issues, just copy and paste the eye on HIS left, drag it lower and instead of making the one eye bigger, have his right eye squint to accentuate the wide eye, the eyes are also not quite perfect but i can't do more without a full redraw of them and I'm not doing that so you get cut and paste, one thing you should make a habit from now on is ALWAYS flipping your canvas, as we draw are stuff, it just looks normal, the shock from flipping it sets off the uncanny valley effect and lets us easily see what the issue is. Now if you want to improve, I know it's a fault of using your FUCKING FINGER, but you really gotta clean that line art up, Line art isn't JUST about being clean, it's about accurately depicting something with intention, alot of artist have trouble moving past this stage because their art gets ugly with out the mess obscuring the mistakes and allowing the viewer to fill in the gaps. Here's an example, his left hand, It looks like you painted in just the FAINTEST thumb poking out from it, but I can't tell if that's intentional or a product of your messy coloring, also in my example that one tiny TINY line I corrected infinity makes the hand better, but you only learn about these tiny corrections if you draw with intention, you need to study a hand for that, for the most part i presume you've got most of your skill from copying other artists, THAT'S GOOD! No need to recreate the wheel, but you do gotta understand the wheel, so some anatomy study would do wonders for you. You have raw talent, but that will only take you so far, you need to refine it.
