It is popular opinion that the guitar in the middle is uglier than the other two. Other than the birds on the fretboard, how would you fix it?

I'd change the headstock, personally. It's like it doesn't know if it wants to knock off Ibanez or Gibson. The "horns" also ought to be a fair shake longer, the horn on the left should extend up to the 12th fret for balance purposes like on the Fender.
