https://openai.com/index/introducing-chatgpt-images-2-5/Yeah.... Graphic designers are even more sadly even more deep down in the hole
It's pretty solid. The flash variant is much faster (~40s rather than 80). I've been using it as a starting point for rendering UI. Been trying out a few tools for diffusion->code and i've had good results for UI.
they need to make it output at 300 dpi so i can get fired already.
>>464801graphic design is dead
>>464801Who is still doing graphic design in 2026? Especially without having done a deep dive on AI use?>>464805It's been dead for at least a decade and was probably always a meme career. No one except women stay in the field more than a few years without graduating to something better paying, more interesting, and more gratifying.
>>464807somehow I still have a job doing graphic design, it's moreso designs for signage than anything else. However I am sure I will be fired / laid off in the near future, I am praying to win the powerball before that happens.
Yep I barely do it anymore, thank fuck it wasn't my main income. At this point its just a good skill to know that I can utilize. As for Ai in general at least Chat GPT is attempting to make its self user friendly. Google ai is getting reports that it's arguing with users, probably salty H1B programmers that got pissy they had to put in some kind of rebuttable output. Why the hell some basic bitch "ai" is arguing with people rather than saying something like "sorry I can't do that" is crazy.Long term unless your say a print shop graphic design is kind of dead a bit like guys who used to carve horse and cart wheels sure there was some demand for a while but eventually there really wasn't.
>>464831Yep most of what I do in that industry its because people know I'm reliable and unlike ai or some random in India I'll actually fix the problem rather than trying to nickle and dime them or ignore them.
>>464805CS+GD+Vibecoding mega pro gamer 7000 can still be very good. The AI still produces slop, way too noticable.
