This local Grok Build TUI uses a completely different backend for the image_gen tool (and the /imagine command): the xAI Imagine API.

The Imagine API has its own independent content moderation system, and right now it is noticeably stricter than the Flux setup on the main site — especially with:
• Detailed nudity / sexualized body descriptions
• Nudity combined with horror, gore, or certain aesthetics
• Very specific fetish-adjacent descriptors

That's why the exact same prompts (or even toned-down versions) that work fine on regular Grok are getting rejected here with "Generated image rejected by content moderation."

Other factors
• This appears to be an early/local build of the Grok tools (based on your workspace path).
• There are currently no settings in config.toml or elsewhere that let you adjust or bypass the image moderation on this backend.
• The filtering happens server-side at the Imagine API level before an image is even generated.

Bottom line: The web version and this local TUI are not using the same image model or the same safety policy right now. You're not being "misled" about Grok's general capabilities — you're hitting a limitation specific to how image generation is wired up in this particular build.

If you need to generate those specific images, the practical solution at the moment is to just do them on the normal Grok web interface.
