It's a good movie because the character is realistic, a person with a middling IQ who sort of understands something wrong is going on and feels compelled but like an ape feels compelled. He's not fully able to understand the urge though maybe the character may claim to be able to. It's nuance brought to the character specifically by deniros normal ass kinda dumb acting. If you haven't met a guy like his character, you haven't walked around enough. This is when that guy breaks, because it's not all just predestined spergs out there committing crimes or self claimed acts of retribution against society. It's just mostly spergs.
