I can run this resolution/duration without too much trouble, but I added a riding lora and that put my into needing to add some low-vram stuff, similar to how I got away with that one 4060 gen.So, this was 15s, genned in 783s.
This was 10s, genned in 430s. I left the low-vram stuff the same. Fair is fair, and it doesn't seem to make a huge difference on time for me.
And 5s, genned in 220s.Definitely not a linear increase. From these 3 gens at this resolution, LLM came up with this for my system:gen_time_sec ≈ 150 + 2.8 × duration_sec2So generation time currently appears to scale roughly as fixed overhead + duration2, not directly with duration.

The ssd is Linux and comfyui, a few other small programs for support like gimp, kdenlive, audacity, and the hdd is for archival.I can't say I enjoyed setting it up, but it was the right thing to do. Some of my issue was I was doing it before there was good rtx 50xx support in Linux, and chatgpt refused to believe my 5060ti was real. Hopefully it's easier now.

I might switch out the Eros model for the vanilla with turbo and loras, but I never know which loras to use or at what strengths and how well certain ones work with each other. Plus I think stacking loras has a tendency to degrade quality or distort the likeness from a ref picture. Like I said, a lot of variables to consider. I think I made a mistake by trying to get Grok to spit out a bunch of premises and prompts for me and just copy/pasting them without revising them at all. Some turn out ok, but I got a lot of jank or samey ones with that method. Here's an example of the jank, though I think her head banging against the stall door at the beginning is kinda funny.

Oh, holy shit. I boogered together a 2 stage version of my normal MH3 workflow, and man.So this was my standard fl2va workflow. Genned at this resolution, 8 steps with relevant turbo lora.Result, 516s.
This was the 2 stage. 5 steps at 1/2 resolution, latent 2x upscale, 3 steps at full resolution.293s.Motion isn't as good, probably because that initial low res was too small for the model to work. But I can apply this to higher res gens to get the motion and reap the time savings.
......and because I noticed I boogered the duration on the first 2stager, I ran it again. This time, though, I chooched it at 960x1280 then downscaled it because 4mb etc.495s.So a hair faster than the native 768x1024 gen for 1.5x the total pixels.
