The issue with clients like Kariel is that they set unrealistic expectations for artists. Its easier to raise prices than lower them, so the spike ends up harming the volume of requests in the end. I've seen too many artists he's requested stop getting requests at all because they now sit at 20k more than wise people are willing to pay.Just look at his skeb page and tell me most of them are worth the half a grand he pays.
