Since the other thread will probably die, I'll repeat my question here: if the Comiket is this weekend, does anyone know why some artists are releasing their stuff on August 31st according to Melonbooks? Maybe a placeholder date, or is there another event on that date?

Any richfags here wanna help get a good doujin re-scanned? The scanner wants $25 for buying and scanning the book. My friend is a translator and he doesn't wanna waste time on tilted pages. The artist is also attending c108, so the scanner might agree to scanning both for a discount.

Proton VPN worked for me. It is free, but you can't choose which country to connect in the free version. So you'll have to play VPN Gacha, or buy a subscription.

If the Free version connects you to USA or Japan, you likely have no problem accessing Melonbooks.

In case you really don't want spend money just to access Melonbooks, you can disconnect, then give 5 to 10 minutes, and connect again. Proton will likely send you to a different server.

You can choose the country for free if you download the wireguard config. But then you can't switch to another country easily. And you need to learn how to set up wireguard, but that's something worth learning anyway.
