I think paying for hentai pictures and videos is getting out of hand. >you have to pay me $20 or more a month individuallyI'm tired of subscriptions. I'm tired of it all.
Sites like Pawchive and Kemono need to grow a spine so people can fund subscription costs and then the site subscribes and leaks the paywalled content. Pawchive received over ten fucking thousand dollars in 1 day (probably fewer than 5 hours).
Can't you read? It's only 3 bucks to view everything, you only need to pay more to do requests. As for viewing, you only need to pay once and then just download it all.
>>8957181That's just an example. There's many who charge you $10 or more just to see any of their content, and there's a lot. There's people paying $500 a month for patreon/ fanbox/ kemono stuff.
>>8957181And dont forget the people who are even greedier and only let you see only three months of recent content for a high asking price.
>>8957116Get a job.
>>8957183You call them greedy but it's you who wants to have all the stuff for free.>>8957203This. An hour of working to support one artist for a MONTH.Or just stay on twitter. Maybe they'll enjoy watching you seethe.
>>8957206I don't want the stuff for free, but I also dont want to be paying multiple artists that adds up to a bill over a hundred bucks a month.
>>8957203>artists are as valuable as huluHA!
>>8957212Neither is valuable you fucktard
>>8957216true but saying artists are on the same level as cable channels..
>>8957211then don't?why are you supporting artist when you can't afford to do it? Is your brain damaged or you don't understand the concept of "don't buy something you don't need"?
>>8957513>misses the point entirely
>>8957116>you have to pay me $20 or more a month individuallyAnon can you fucking read? You only need to pay 500 yen to see everything unless you want to beg for custom requests. But it's true that if you sub to multiple artists the cost really adds up.
>>8957587>Anon can you fucking read? You only need to pay 500 yen to see everything unless you want to beg for custom requests.>>8957182
>>8957583Your point being that you want most of it for free but won't admit that?
>>8957590The reality of our situation is that there's about 20 artists that I would love to pay for, but all of them would add up to a substantial amount of money. In truth, it's not worth paying that much money to subscribe to someone every month. That's the current market issue. All artists want to be treated like kings, but this just makes it harder for anyone to want to sub to you to begin with. Now if they all cost $1 to $5, at least it'll make it easier to make that choice.
>>8957116Maybe people need to eat?
>>8957614Fact: starving, miserable artists produce better art. (But less of it.)
>>8957627This. Just look at Summertime Saga. The moment he made bank, he stopped working.
>>8957182>my situation is so common and relevant that neither I nor the OP can actually provide proof or evidenceDamn anon, incredible work>>8957627Yes but no. If the artist fails there's a decent chance they'll just quit and get a regular 9-5. Then you might just get NO art.As of writing, 100 yen is...sixty four cents USD.200 yen is 1.27, 500 yen is three dollars and seventeen cents. A thousand yen is...six bucks, thirty five cents.>>8957591Literally the ONLY artist shown in this thread is below five bucks for all access (minus requests)Maybe just support one each month and download the content? Maybe even leave a comment for stuff you particularly like?>B-but my hypothetical 20 artists that all start at 5,000 yen-I'm sorry you have some incredibly unlikely taste in outrageously expensive artists anon, but that is a blatant edge case that nobody here seems up to even proving EXIST.
>>8957676>Maybe just support one each month and download the content?>>8957183
>>8957181$3 is too much. I would argue $1 is still too much. When so much quality free art already exists, for $1 I would expect at minimum about 100 pieces of high quality art, minimal effort variants not included.
>>8957716not sure if youre sarcastic or not but I wont blame the artist for wanting $10. But I do blame them for asking for $10 A MONTH from everyone and no one is paying for one individual artist. Say an artist charges $1 a month and they make only one art piece a month. And say they have 200 subscribers. That's at minimum $200 a month for an art piece. Ignore stuff like living costs. You're literally paying them a lot of money for small amounts of posts. I know artists who dont even make content often and yet they still demand $20+ from their subscribers for access. So you're right that they should be giving a lot more for what they ask. Not because it's individually $1, but that they have a lot of users who are paying that.
>>8957677So then once every three months. But those kinds of artists must be rare on fanbox, I subscribe to dozens and none are like that. On fantia of course it's the default.
>>8957716How can it not be worth three or even one dollar yet still be worth enough for you to be upset by not having it?You're completing these shitty captchas and checking this thread over something you don't value at a single dollar...?This isn't me ragging on you, I'm actually confused. You want it, enough to think about and even post about it, but are ambivalent enough to consider it worth less than a dollar...?I can't name a single thing in my life outside of, I dunno, winning lottery ticket, where I could genuinely go "I want that, but not enough to pay a dollar"
>>8957746I've seen artists on both fanbox and patreon do that payment model.
>>8957787Yeah but they're rare. Hardly a justification for your anti-subscription crusade.
>>8957824you sound rather defensive. you don't happen to have a $200+ bill to artists every month, do you anon?
>>8957825>you sound rather defensiveTextbook case of projection.
>>8957840ah so you do
>>8957825What kind of retard question is this? How is he supposed to disprove that? How can YOU prove that YOU don't? When did the whole website get this fucking stupid?
>>8958235Not the whole website I guess, just this one poorfag looking for excuses.
>>8958248>poorfagCalled it. So you do have a large amount of subscriptions. And hate being called out for being made a fool of
>>8957116>$20nigga that's like 14 dollars, if evenYou're either an actual underage or a poorfag to care this much over 14usdEither way is your life that insignificant that you have to constantly bitch and moan everyday about some retarded literal who patreon?
>>8958272stop samefagging
>>8958272SEAmonkey things, please understand
>>8957116I'm a spicmacaco, everything I have watched and played has been pirated from the day I ate my first banana. My tv cable was stolenMy PC was a rebuilt with second hand parts and with pirated OfficeAll my playstation consoles were chipped.Fuck paying for shit.
>>8957116>2100yen>$20This nigga is stuck in 2010 before japan became poor lmao
The only time artists should ever ask for money is when it's for commissions or when they're selling something like a doujin. Locking regular ass images but with variants or whatever behind a paywall is the cancer killing anime art. Fanbox and patreon and all these other sites must be stopped>but they have to get paid! Then take commissions
>>8958799This is a valid point. I always felt something was wrong with charging subscriptions for art.
then just don't sub>b-butAI
>>8958333holy based
>>8958248>>8958272if you're not a poorfag, prove you're not LARPing by leaking popular paywalled doujins.
>>8958799>Then take commissionsthey're just gonna offset the costs by charging up the ass for comms and you know it (they already do this)also commissioning artists is an unpleasant experience most of the time between egos and missed deadlines
>>8959085I even used to upload on panda but owning doujins is not a sign of wealthHowever, bitching about 14usd over some literal who patreon is a sign of poorfag
>>8959092Also this. I used to commission a decent amount and the retard genuinely has no idea what the fuck he's talking about. There's also no benefit for the artist if they can just get sub money instead of having to deal with retarded commissioners especially from the muttoid and SEA monkey regions, and people already bitch about how pricey the commissions are, me included.
>>8959119Its not 14. It's $14 x 12 a year.
>>8959120Ah yes, so now you pay a sub for pieces you dont even want and the artist can sometimes just not release frequently at all. Nice model there.
>>8959120a while ago i wanted to comm khyle for whatever fucking reason but when i looked at the price sheet and saw figures close to $400 for a finished, relatively simple piece i fucking lost itall i can say is that i'm just really really glad ai imagegen exists>>8959127nta but the artists who double dip without being complete shitbags seem to charge lower per comm
btw yen is cheap as fuck now, you're just poor and brown so you deserve to just suffer>>8959141>all i can say is that i'm just really really glad ai imagegen existsYea my desire to attend comiket just for doujins has gotten weaker since I can just gen my own shit. Now I just spend that money on physical stuff like figures(bought Asanagi one from the お蔵出し sale recently, might preorder the new one)>khyleAlso I don't bother with Western/SEA artists ever since Skeb has been a thing but with AI even more so since I don't even use them for my style mix.low IQ browns can't really do either though because they're too retarded for AI and also poor so all they can do is just bitch and moan.
>>8959149>low IQ browns can't really do either though because they're too retarded for AI and also poor so all they can do is just bitch and moan.(don't) come to /hdg/, it's brownSEAnigland (they think $25 is a monumental amount of money) and has been for the past 4 years
>>8959092Just use skeb so its cheaper from the weak yen and you dont have to do anything but wait for the finished pic
>>8959119So will you do it or are you LARPing? It's a popular 770 JPY c108 doujin.
>>8959168Sure, if it's good, which one?
>>8959168I don't know who the other dude is but kys brownoid 乞食
>>8959168Fugg he raised the price.https://www.dlsite.com/maniax/work/=/product_id/RJ01682974.html
>raised the price>only 110 yenThese sites really need to filter out the 3rd world already
>>8959126Why would you keep the Patreon the whole year? Get one month, download everything and then cancel.
>>8959312Probably because he's an unironic low IQ jeet shitskin
What a pathetic little shit full of cognitive dissonance for coming to 4chan to attack anons for being poorfag for validation despite you yourself being poor, while going /pol/ to fuel your reddit circlejerk despite fetishizing an island full of slanted Browns.
>>8957206Spotted the KKslopper
>>8957116>3 dollars to get access to everythingthat is super cheap. I have subscribed to some already because most only go up to only 500 yen
>>8959749Source?
Because this is 4chan, there's a 95% chance the retard calling everyone poor and brown is from SEA because it believes doing so will get people to see it as White.Or it's an Indian, who do it because of this or to falseflag like their Jewish handlers do. Weirdos, lol.
Thank god I'm the 5% then, dumb fucking coping retard. If you're bitching about 14usd you're probably from SEA too. Either way BROWN.
>>896009614 a month, faggot.
What is with this retard. You do know people sub like once a year to access everything. Cancel then Sub a year later.
>>8960711>just wait a year to see your favorite artists' workThat sounds even stupider.
>>8960768Either he's your favorite artist and his art is worth something to you, or his art is worthless to you and he isn't. Make up your mind, how much is it worth to you?
>>8960777>artist asks to sub every year while he makes monthly art>the arttist art is worth something, why cant you pay 14 a month, poorfag/ SEA/ whatever buzzword you make up next>doesnt even give the option that an artists work is valued regardless but spending 14 a month for all his users, usually over 1K users, means his art that you dont even commission personally is worth thousands of dollars a monthFuck no.
>>8960779Evading the question again. What is his art worth to you? Or aren't you just envious of his success then?
>>8960787You're missing the point, likely on purpose. If an artist has 1000 users, and charges $10 a month, they are making 10K a month for art they release every month. No artist in existence, save for the very high end ones, is worth selling stuff for 10K a month.
>>8960795No, you're just in denial about your envy. That's why the point you're trying to make is unfounded. His art is worthy to you. But because it's also worthy to a lot of other people, you won't pay for it as much as it's worth to you. That's pure envy.
>>8960799The old model is that one person pays for an art piece, and that's all its paid for..Subscription means artists dont have to worry about inidvidual quality anymore for people to pay. So instead, they force everyone to subscribe to them to get art THEY choose to make themselves. You're basically a cuck if you sub to an artist.
>>8960802To add, artists use to just make stuff for the fun of it. Now they demand payment or else they'll starve like they try to guilt you.
Subscription is basically holding fans hostage and telling them to pay up or else he or she will never make art again. Then the artist makes what they want anyway. Sometimes they have voting polls, but the artist still gets to choose most of what to make.
You can stop trying to rationalize your envy. It only makes you look more and more petty.
Envy is being a tranny by coming to 4chan to spam anyone not giving thousands of dollars to an artist is Brown and poor, and how one "illegal download" is one lost sale, while the tranny itself only leeches off generous buyfags who leak paywalled content.
>>8960096>>8959178Typical tranny samefagging to deflect because 770 yen is too expensive for it despite it claiming to be rich.
>>8960808There's an artist working for Fakku who posts pictures of his Ferraris while claiming to be starving because of "pirates". He didn't post those pictures before working for Fakku.I can't remember his name, but he's the artist who made the multi work series of an ugly nerd in high school fucking three edgy female classmates separately in his tiny apartment, and the first girl getting moody and ghosting him because he didn't only fuck her. Artists are perpetual retarded victims.
>>8960831It was right to keep artists as poor starving artists. How else do you encourage their talent? Most of them are lazy
Sorry, didn't mean to cause a melty.
Damn if artists are rich why don't you become one? oh wait lmaoI almost pity them for having to deal with losers like this. The seething poor doesn't even know he's on the same shit smeared coin as the artist he hates. Also I like how the poorfag's response is just 'no u' or 'tranny' when being told he's brown and poor. Because he is indeed brown and poor.btw """popular""" doujin(aka pls buy this for me I'm totally not begging) but this brownoid can't even shell out 880jpy(5.6 fucking USD lmao).
Only time I supported an artist was when I found out they had a pixiv and then subbed to it. But then I stopped subbing cause I realized, they were able to make good content before, so why not now. And they were making less content and claiming it was because of rising bills.
>>8960838>>8960845>melty>seething>poorfag>can't even shell out 880jpy(5.6 fucking USD lmao)but enough about you, tranny.
>>8957116The price is set at what the market will bear
>>8960859the market (the people paying per month), like simps on onlyfans, are the enablers and are just as much of a problem.
>>8960861Priced out of the market, huh?
I pay sometimes 3 dollars to some artists I like. 3 dollars is nothing ffs
What artists should do is have a set amount that they need to reach each month. And as long as they reach it, it's considered the month they will release something. This way people choose how much to contribute based on what they wish. And at the end of the month, based on that amount will determine their set content for the following month.I still hate it, but it'll be a fair balance.
You sure hate other people making more money than you think is fair, huh.
You sure can't stop shitting up the thread with your samefagging and self projecting, huh tranny.
>>8960943Funny thing is subscription sites weren't meant for paywalling content.
>>8960967That's a tall statement when paywalling is literally the first feature all of them implemented and encouraged artists to use.
3D artists are worse.
>>8957116Bernd knows this feeling. He had several Patreon subscriptions like Slayed.coom etc...However instead of he was thinking about getting the gud stuff. But Bernds doesn't have strange japanese payment method neighter a credit card. Uff! :3
