Why were Tartars inferior to sub-Saharan Africans?

A bit sad how village-dwelling bantus became the face of SSA.

Because humanism in art isn’t actually a technological innovation and is something that occasionally pops up when cultures feel like it where there might otherwise be no extant humanist tradition. What comes to mind is in ancient egypt there was a bust discovered that was very humanist. My theory is that the style is seen as relatively obvious by many cultures to the point that they simply don’t bother. It’s also why in medieval europe you get these otherwise very medieval cultures occasionally cranking out random humanistic works. Like, if you make statues to house spirits, why would you even care if the statue looks like a real person? What if that hurts whatever magical effect you’re aiming for?

Thank Europeans for importing them into the Americans instead of importing Kushites

True, we should have imported pygmies instead.

Last I checked, the slaves being shipped were minority bantu.
