Does the bible make sense without the Noah flood story?
>>18487415>Does the bible make senseno.
The story is about how virteous people can either flee a crumbling society or die with it.
>>18487415When the ark with Noah was raised in Heaven by the flood, this is where Jesus Christ’s blood went after the Old Testament covenant ark made of gold that Moses was instructed to make, became obsolete by the New Covenant in Heaven. Consequently, Moses was already instructed orders to observe the New Covenant even when he was High Priest, being told by God to teach God’s People to no longer need the priest to pray, but to go directly to the Lord in Prayer and pray to him in their hearts in their own tent. This was seen as “new” even though it wasn’t new. You can see how Adam was in the garden and God was watching and observing his thoughts, prayers, and intents, everything he felt or thought was open to God, even humanity’s entire future and possible outcomes was all happening at once in God’s omnipotent and omnipresence and infinite understanding and limitless power. God who Created everything and is both everlasting to everlasting and also Creator of the Beginning and the Ending at the same time. Who is so Holy that sin is not allowed to be in His presence or to touch Him. Yet He put on man’s flesh to die for our sins so that all could go to Heaven by believing in His name and that he died and shed His own blood by grace through faith for sins. Faith means we can’t have the proof to show it. Because Love doesn’t like prisons or cages for the soul. It allows the soul to be freed. So when the Ark entered Heaven, Jesus’ blood entered it and it wouldn’t make sense without Noah. Just as it wouldn’t make sense without Adam and Eve. And the revelation has a lot of false gods associated with coming from under the sea that drowned in the flood, coming back. Like the pope’s hat is a reference to Dagon and worship of those things. So I think that God used the Old Testament to hold Satan in chains and judgement and his angels, for the hell he prepared for Satan, and salvation from eternal hell doesn’t make sense without it.
>>18487415the story it's riffing off of in the epic of gilgamesh is unironically a lot better
>>18487415>I will never destroy the world again by making it rain for forty days and forty nights and causing a great flood, instead, next time I destroy the world, I will send the four horsemen of the apocalypse and the seven bowls of my wrath upon the worldThanks God.Also, the story is kind of similar to the Epic of Gilgamesh which was written before the Bible and something the Jews were familiar with at the time.Lol.
I have no shame in denying the false gods of the Science and the Scholarship, and I affirm without doubt, fear or shame that every word of holy scripture is true.
>>18489238i thought gilgamesh was mythology they all had in common
