>Why do Arabs lose to Israel every time?
Unironically because the Jews have Slavic admixture
>>
>>18490177
Extremely top heavy structures, rampant corruption, excessive political interference, no flexibility among ranks, interservice distrust and uncooperation, lack of initiative among everyone top to bottom, tribalism, etc.

In summary, Arabs are retarded.

Israel's geography is favourable. It's enemies are often not well coordinate and share divergent objectives. Often victory of one of their enemies is more dangerous to another enemy than an Israel victory.

Egypt and Yugoslavia did stop Israel from taking Cairo (and with it, Egypt) and from creating Greater Israel, though.

There's an entire book on modern Arab military failures called Armies of Sand. The reasons are exactly those you'd expect for brown third world shitholes.
>Corruption
>Ethnic strife
>Incompetent leadership benefitting from nepotism
yada yada...

The jew enjoys full military financial and political support from the entirety of europe and the us as well as cannon fodder from judeochristian latinxs

The arabs wetr disorganized and the only who opposed the jew were weak post colonial nations like iraq syria lebanon palestine and egypt

Arab leaders have learned to replace competent army commanders with loyal yes-men, because keeping competent generals who either dislike your politics, or are in a foreign payroll (e.g. USrael), or dislike you as a person will get you couped quickly. Just look at the amount of army coups in the Arab world in the 20th century. A smart Arab leader always distrusts the army, for the sake of political stability. However, a direct consequence of this is that the army will make stupid mistakes in combat.
Also, Israel has got one of the best intelligence services in the world, maybe the best. Usually they win the war before it starts - like they did in 1967 or in Lebanon '82.

The 1973 war would have been an Arab victory but the Israelis were threatening to nuke everyone including Europe
>>
It was an intelligence fuck up between the Arabs and the Soviets. Nobody actually wanted to start a war for real, not yet anyways. They were just swinging swords. Then the Soviets fucked up and told the Arabs that Israel was actually about to attack them, so Egypt blockaded them hoping to get them to negotiate but Israel surprise attacked and took out the entire Egyptian air force and then captured Sinai, Golan, and West Bank from completely unprepared Arab armies.

Egypt won in 1973.

>Sadat aims to take and hold the east bank of the Suez Canal to negotiate for a return of the Sinai Peninsula from a position of strength
>Operation Badr goes off without a hitch and Egypt occupies the east bank
>Assad fucks everything up in the Golan Heights and begs Sadat to make unplanned diversionary attacks
>Sadat reluctantly agrees
>The Israelis exploit these failed attacks as an opening, make a breach in the center of Egyptian lines, and cross to the west bank of the Suez Canal
>Israeli forces wheel around to the south side, cutting off Egyptians on the east bank there, but get bogged down at Suez City, while the north half is still entirely under Egyptian control (left map)
>UN intervenes
>Finnish and other UN troops force Israel back across the Suez Canal
>Egypt holds the entirety of the Suez Canal from 1974 until a return of the Sinai Peninsula is successfully negotiated (right map)
I don't know what war you lose by achieving your strategic objectives and acquiring more territory than you started with. I'm not saying the breach in the Egyptian center wasn't a fuckup, but Egyptian pretty undeniably came out on top, and ended up fucking over the Arab world because it got everything it wanted.

Also, for added context, does this Israeli General at 1:14 sound victorious and triumphant? Or does he sound like a seething fucking loser, because he knows Egypt got exactly what it wanted?

Not until after the Six Day War, they were pretty isolated previously.

Also, source on Sadat's war aims is 'Arabs at War: Military Effectiveness, 1948-1991' by Kenneth M. Pollack, p. 101

Menajeet genetics vs. Polish BVLLs.

I'm often reminded of this line from Edward Gibbon's History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire:
>Suspicious princes often promote the last of mankind, from a vain persuasion, that those who have no dependence, except on their favor, will have no attachment, except to the person of their benefactor.
The intentional promotion of incompetent people into the most important offices is a feature of authoritarian systems. Those officers, who know they are unqualified and owe their fortunes to the leader's patronage, will be utterly loyal. Political reliability is far more important than competence. This is also why many strongmen are known to micromanage promotions.

Militaries in authoritarian systems are also intentionally fragmented and not allowed to train together in combined arms to prevent a single unified military institution from being in a position to challenge state authority. This necessarily makes the military less effective at fighting a real war.
