But like any predictions they are not always correct.
The basics like prisoner's dilemma are helpful, but only by adding to your vocabulary since these things are self-evident. The more complex game theory falls apart in real life. Rather like a convoluted plan which falls apart in the first encounter with the enemy, there are too many random variables.
