Why did India get conquered so easily when it's protected by literally the tallest mountain ranges?
>>
>>18492100
Not happened, nazicel
>>
>Get past the Hindu-Kush mountains through Afghanistan
>High terrain gives way for flat pluvial plains ripe for calvary and resources to loot
>Major cities situated alongside major navigable rivers, control the rivers, control the cities
>Rigid theocratic caste society makes unorganized defenses and at worst conspire with invaders for power gains
Just try not to get Malaria and you'd be fine
>>
>>18492142
Rivers are also great defensive borders.
>>
>>18492100
For the same reason China falls to Steppeniggers from time to time: once you get past the bigass Mountain Range (though a very easy to navigate Pass) you open up to plains areas in the North that a bunch of Steppenigs could conquer, take over, and use said plains' considerable agrarian output to take the rest of the subcontinet.

Unlike China though India suffers from the fact that even the main Hindoo race isn't exactly united & divided into numerous shitty little kingdoms and subcultures. For an outsider its less like invading China and more like rolling over one little kingdom over another.

China fought tooth and nail each time the steppe nogs invaded, India did not they submitted asap to their Iranic, Turkic, European overlords with little push back

>>
>>18492100
....Which conquest are we talking about here because none of them were "easy" except for arguably the one we don't actually know much about.
>>
>>18493976
I am ceo with bbc and bugati
>>
>>18492100
Didn't they take it back though?
Lol.
>>
>>18493976
Because its profitable
>>
>>18492683
China's northern borders are not protected by the tallest mountains in the world.
>>
>>18494378
>Didn't they take it back though?
>take it back
The Brits gave them the land back for no reason and even created the modern form of their country for them.
>>
>>18494632
After extracting resources and using them to fight wars for 200 years.
I think it was a fair deal
>>
>>18494654
>extracting resources
I'm so tired of this cope. Brits didn't "extract" any resources they didn't pay for. Are Indians "extracting resources" from the Middle East when they buy oil from them?
>>
>>18492100
how did hannibal cross the alps nigga?
>>
>>18494703
The Brits were taxing the Jeet peasants relentlessly and then used the same money to buy Jeet goods. They also forced Jeet farmers to switch from food crops to cash crops, we all know about the Opium. Cotton was literally produced in India and then shipped off to England to produce cheap clothes and then SOLD TO THE JEETS AGAIN lmao The British Raj wasn't called "The Crown Jewel" for no reason. Its ok anon, you don't have to rabidly defend every action your ancestors did and every crime they committed, its not your fault.
>>
>>18494784
>Unironically compares the Alps to the Himalayas
>>
>>18494800
India was conquered from the west in every instance.
>>
khyber pass exists. was literally the freeway in which all land based invaders entered the subcontinent
>>
>>18494810
Because no one could from the north
>>
>>18492100
the average jeet is weaker than a white child
its literally free real estate
>>

Because India was not one united people at all, at any point in their history. It was dozens of micro nations, tribes, and city states; with a ton of internal fighting.

Every group, for the most part, was trying to obtain dominance over their neighbors. Furthermore, the caste system had all the classes perpetually struggling against each other.

With no unity, they were easy pickings for large nations that *were* unified, organized, with superior technology. And since all these tribes were trying to gain advantages against each other, many of them directly allied themselves with the conquerors

And still they have no unity, no civic pride, no notion of working together to tackle big problems. They're all playing a zero sum game where they're trying to advance at their neighbors expense.

Ordinarily, I oppose tyrannical government, but in India's case, I think it's needed. Someone needs to unify the entire nation by force, cast out those who absolutely will not contribute, someone needs to aggressively fix the infrastructure, instill civic pride, collect the garbage, and make those dirty fucks stop littering and shitting in the streets.

Truthfully, British ownership was the best thing that could ever happen to India, they need to be MADE to get their shit together. And some times it takes foreign tyranny to do that.

In India's case, and most of Africa, they absolutely require foreign administration. They're not capable of governing themselves and if allowed to do so, they'll be perpetually dragging their own people back into the stone age.

remember anon both India and Pakistan have nukes now
>>
>>18492100
Famously, no one has ever been able to cross a mountain range before. It’s like hitting the end of a video game map, physically impossible
>>
>>18494815
If there's only one path into your land, couldn't you just defend it? You'd think that would be easy.
>>
>>18494830
Yeah, and OP's question is
>Why did India get conquered so easily...
not
>Why did India get conquered from the north?
>>
>>18492100
>Why did India get conquered so easily
You've seen jeets, right?
>>
>>18494830
Yeah retard that's why Indians aren't speaking Chinese today
>>
>>18494853
>>Truthfully, British ownership was the best thing that could ever happen to India, they need to be MADE to get their shit together.
They weren't united under Britain either though. Half the territory was still actually ruled by the native kings (princely states).
Unironically India would have benefited from a USSR like union of soviet republics. At least communists would've gotten shit done, instead India lagged behind the other Asian countries so much Western economists even started derisively calling any low-growth economy as suffering from the Hindu rate of growth.
>>
>>18492100
>Why did India get conquered so easily
By whom? Indian kingdoms did a pretty good job of stopping the Umayyad invasions.
>>
>>18493976
>China fought tooth and nail each time the steppe nogs invaded
Yeah they fought so hard they ended up being ruled by steppe nogs for hundreds of years.
Do you think the Yuans the Qings were native to China? Dumbfuck.
>>
>>18493988
>being a Brit makes you a tranny
>>
>>18494853
>>18492683
>>18492142
their lack of unity and disorganization was irrelevant factor. They're so inferior, even if they were united, history would remain same. They just can't compete with western races.
>>
>>18495204
The least fucked up state in India (Kerala) has been ruled by communists since the 60s, so you have a point.
>>
>>18492107
seething pajeet
>>
>>18492100
Western India is dry and arid, making it perfect for cavalry compared to the more forested east. The west also grows grain instead of rice (grown in the east), making it less labor intensive and therefore better for raising an army.
