In the sagas Odin is described as wearing a wide brimmed hat, what would that have looked like? I saw this online, it's a hat found in Lappvattnet Sweden that dates to around 1400. I thought that might fit, but there are two issues with that. One, that's kind of late, maybe clothing styles changed. Two, I'm pretty sure that was a Sami area at the time, so it might not be the right culture at all. But at the same time the Sami were seen as kind of magical by the Norse, maybe the god of magic wearing a hat like that would fit. What do you guys think?
