The way Fundie Mormons work is unique, but I wouldn't call what they have 'white'. In fact the closest analogue I can draw is to a tribe of aboriginal australians that also practiced normative polygamy, they were self reliant; A society wholly dependent on an outside society for regulation and waste disposal is nothing short of unviably parasitic.
Not that social structures have a race or anything.
I will be checking the book out, though. I wonde r if groups outside the U. are covered.
