It was fairly common in the most rural Europe up until the early modern era that people would visit church to simultaneously get married and to get all the kids they already had out of wedlock baptized simultaneously. It just made sense, who on earth bothers to travel all the way to the closest church more than once in a decade or so?

Yeah, I can guarantee you as a Serb they don't do that now. Though there used to be a small minority celebrating some patron Saints around Novi Pazar until a few decades ago, think the most common one was St. Elijah. Still, that's nothing compared to the stuff in picrel.
