Why is Bosnian Islam so radically different from Islam everywhere else? (picrel)
The same thing happened in a lot of places after the Christianization of Europe, where all the regions and places were Christian on paper, but many still practiced some weird syncretism of Christianity and Paganism that's arguably an entirely different religion altogether.

They are white. Different hardware.
>>18500094It was fairly common in the most rural Europe up until the early modern era that people would visit church to simultaneously get married and to get all the kids they already had out of wedlock baptized simultaneously. It just made sense, who on earth bothers to travel all the way to the closest church more than once in a decade or so?
>>18500090>random shit from 400 years agoYeah, I can guarantee you as a Serb they don't do that now. Though there used to be a small minority celebrating some patron Saints around Novi Pazar until a few decades ago, think the most common one was St. Elijah. Still, that's nothing compared to the stuff in picrel.
