Historically, Russia is the greatest enemy of the United States. They support our other enemies, they are a sleeping bear, they directly compete with our technology and weaponry, their father USSR was a temporary ally during WWII to help us defeat Hitler and the nazis, but since then they are the biggest threat to America.China is our second greatest enemy, they support our other enemies, and they spy on us and steal our technology. Unlike Russia, they are held back by their reliance on us as a business parter, we pay them all the time, especially for the Nike shoes and other products they make in slave factories for a cheap penny.The Middle East is our third greatest enemy, they hate us but they are weaker than China and Russia, they do business with us also, selling us oil. They rely on oil sales so much they never fully stopped selling us oil even during the Iran war they only limited sales because they cannot fight us so they need to hurt our gas prices instead. They constantly lie and betray their peace treaties.Our greatest ally is UK, they were our first enemy, but now they are an ally, now UK is incredibly woke and cucked and submissive, they support America now.Our worst ally is Israel, they have attacked us numerous times and then blamed the muslims for it, they force us to fight their wars for them in the middle east and never give us anything in return. Lol.
Obviously US attitudes to Russia are just rehashed Anglo animosity to them, but something I never understood is WHY Britain hated Russia.Every other rivalry seems to have some direct consequence to the nation in question, for example England and Scotland fighting makes sense. England and France fighting makes sense. Britain and Russia? Why did they invent an enemy to be mad at? It's not like Russia could in any way be a viable threat to Britain or vice versa, so why were Victorian tabloids so adamant about creating them as one?

They didn't have to pay tariffs or taxes, they controlled the Suez and they were actively interested in no other player appearing in the area.Russia sought ways to enter the Mediterranean, hence the conflict.That's why Bulgaria was denied access to the Aegean Sea, why the Ottomans were provided aid against the Russian empire, why the Russian Baltic fleet had to travel all around the world to reach Japan, etc.
