Saw a discussion about modern schooling on twitter. Tons of "trad" kind of guys were arguing that modern schooling is designed to be boring to young boys and to humiliate them and that things were completely different in the past. That schoolboys in the past weren't bored with useless shit, weren't needlessly humiliated and weren't forced to sit still for hours doing nothing. What's the cause of this kind of retardation?
Everyone's attention spans have been utterly fucked by smartphones and the internet, it's not that school has "gotten boring" it's that everything that isn't scrolling through 10 second shorts is boring. Doubly so for kids.
I’ve never understood this ”modern schooling is designed to be boring for boys, sitting still is against their nature” thing, considering that it pretty much was sitting still but just with much harsher discipline.

Young boys definitely need to endure the humiliation of being forced to be servants for older boys and being relentlessly bullied by said older boys (and possibly even raped by them).
