He fucking ruined everything
>>18507942Elaborate
>>18507943He started the Pharaonic disease
>>18507943Some faggot called Catfish Chisel ruined civilization forever
>>18507942Akhenaten doomed humanity by introducing the idea of monotheism
>>18508098Do pagan larpers understand that monotheism was a natural development? Every pagan polytheistic religion was slowly moving towards monotheism beside the ooga booga Germanics and Nordics ofcEven if Christianity and Islam didn't rise we would have some sort of monotheistic religion develop eventually.
Guys, this is Narmer, not Akhenaten. He was the first ruler that unified Egyptian kingdoms.
>>18508109Nope, you are mistaking monism for monotheism and it isn’t even incompatible with polytheism; monotheism explicitly rejects other gods while monism allows the existence of multiple gods, viewing them all as aspects or faces of a singular divine principle.
>>18508441Also despite their abstract theology, pagan philosophers still defended traditional religious practices and believed them to be valid ways for the masses to access the divine.
>>18508136I thought Menes unified Egypt.>looks it up>Narmer is (probably) Menes
>>18508803menes :DDDD
>>18508136Well OP said he ruined everything so naturally people think of Akhenaten. Myself included.
I wonder how brutal his conquests were, at least we know there were beheadings
>>18507944What's so bad about the Pharaohs though? They seem pretty chill compared to other rulers and Pharaonic Egypt seems like it was relatively cozy and safe for a premodern society.
>>18507942oh boy it seems Kemet's superiority has led to yet another controversy
>>18509885I think its interesting that the motif on the other side of the pallet, of the king raising a mace while holding a captive, was something that persisted and is still seen in Egyptian royal artwork into the Ptolemaic and Roman periods, but the depiction on this side of the pallet did not. Note the bottom panel, this is Narmer depicted as a bull personally battering down the wall of an enemy city and trampling an enemy captain under his hooves.I can't think of any other cultures that had a practice of depicting their king in art in this way. I think it's really cool, it's a shame the Egyptians moved away from it after the early dynastic period.
>>18510008Good taste
>>18510037>>18510037>this is Narmer depicted as a bull personally battering down the wall of an enemy city and trampling an enemy captain under his hooves. That's just one interpretation. We don't know what the bull actually represents.
>>18509939That's not what 4 Billion people who are Abrahamic believe, for half the planet the Pharaoh were EVIL because they enslaved the children of Israel and believed they were GOD on earth. What makes those accusations even more insidious and demonic is that the people who made them or made slavery a sin and worshipping a human cosplaying as GOD a sin allowed and practiced themselves slavery and worship a defecating human as a GOD. Till today they teach in their prestigious University those lies. After 500 years of reformation and wealth and knowledge accumulation they still teach their Persian, Greek, Roman Indian-Eurofag lies about evil enslaving conquering Pharaohs.
>>18510454Except Judaism is complete nonsense. There is no evidence of a complete Torah existing prior to the 5th century AUC (after of the founding of the city [of Rome]).The Exodus myth was written as a polemic against Manetho, not the other way around (again, no complete Torah prior to the 5th century AUC).Manetho was citing earlier sources and he has been proven correct by history. He was writing about the Shasu and his ONLY mistake was confusing them with the Hyksos. The Shasu were a group of nomads from the southern Levant who worshipped Yahweh and would later contribute to the ethnogenesis of the Jews. They were considered a nuance due to their tendency to raid the Egyptian borders and at some point in the late Bronze Age, they nearly succeeded in plundering Egypt but got their asses kicked and expelled. Manetho wrote this in his Aegyptiaca and the Jews, being mad that people remember this humiliation, wrote the story of Exodus in response.Only those with a mental illness and leprosy would deny any of this. Also, Egypt didn’t even have the type of chattel slavery depicted in Exodus.
>>18510505It's the Jews they made everything up. Kek
>>18510510The Sea People may have been the Atlanteans. My gut tells me so.
