I am developing a philosophy called Ideal Perfectionism designed to cure insomnia.
It has similarities to the Yin Yang philosophy in the sense that it is something that is applicable, rather than just an exercise in epistomology.
I will share my writing if enough interest develops, but this is the basic premise of the applicable aspect of Ideal Perfectionism:
You have to do something neurotic or something that fits your idea of perfect, but with a meta or ironic twist that makes it feel like an exercise in futility.
Doing this repeatedly through the day enhances focus and diverts your attention from sources of anxiety that cause insomnia.
What are some examples?
>Wash your hands rigorously, avoiding your one palm simultaneously.
>Organize your desk while at the same time color coding the shit on your desk like the US flag.
