Personally, I think it was a rather unequal competition, the end result of which was US success (with minor setbacks). and kinda sad story about degradation of idealsP.S. Yes, I know about Cuba and East Asia, but ultimately, Cuba is an isolated shithole. China, Vietnam, etc., are fully capitalist countries whose elites pose no existential threat to the wealthy in the US. (they just want to shift tides for their favor. not destroy enemy)
