Is the polinesian expansion a natural development or were they specially talented? I cant believe they went so far without instruments
>>18510559Their expansion was an accidental side effect of their population control... making all the extra people sail away into uncharted territory was necessary if you wanted the island to remain sustainable. I imagine there must hsve been tens of thousands of dead for each one that stumbled onto an uncharted island.
>>18510559Polynesians are Faustian Ubermensch which used catamarans and sailing techniques to find new islands. Their bodies are adapted to long voyages which why they are prone to obesity. They are aggressive and warlike, some being cannibals. From cloud formation, wave behaviour, bird behaviour, the smell, and their own map making they could determine where likely locations of islands could be. Those that died in exploration likely died because the natural risk of the sea instead of heading too far out.
