I do not believe that modern Central and Northern Europeans have above 30-40% ENF ancestry, it has to be lowerItalics and Greeks have the highest ENF ancestry worldwide which makes them alien looking compared to the rest of Europe
It's a little bit exaggerated this model but not that far off. It's at least 35% for Scandinavians. Also a lot of the Barcin in Italy is straight from the Middle East not from EEF.
>>18514885>I do not believe...Because? You posted a map based on a certain model, other models will yield slightly different results. A significant part of Central and Northern Europe seems to be very homogenous due to various historical and geographic factors, but lumping them all together doesn't make sense, e.g. expecting Swiss to be closer to Finns than to (most) Italians is not particularly reasonable. Looks and genetics don't always correlate perfectly, mainland Italians are genetically quite distant from Sardinians and closer to various Central European groups than to them, but looks-wise the opposite is true. Likewise for Balts, who are (at least according to these plots/maps) quite distinct from their neighbours, more so than in terms of physical appearance. Plus, I don't think Italians and Greeks look out of place for the part of Europe they are from.
