If your only reason for believing in God is the promise of an afterlife, then you don't really believe in God, you just fear death. God is not obligated to give your ungrateful ass an afterlife. Even in the context of religions that do teach the existence of one such as Christianity, you're still meant to earn an afterlife, it's not something that's simply given to you. It's also a complete insult to Gods creation for you to see this world and life given to you just for you to say it's "boring" and that you're just here to die and go off to heaven. Life is not a means to an end, it's the most incredible and most mysterious phenomenon we will ever know and you shouldn't trivialize it.
