Gutians were Yamnaya Anatolian invaders. It makes sense to me, they are traditionally said to have arrived in Sumer around 2400’s BCE as invaders and mercenaries and overthrew the akkadians. Before that the Anatolian Indo-European language is said to have arrived in the area around 2700 bc. Their movements eastwards from western Anatolia probably pushed the akadians from their northern homeland down south which led to Sumer being conquered by akadians.
nahh akkadians were already there.btw any onomastic proof of Gutians being IE?
