Why is south america highly multicultural compared to north america?

North America is more multicultural.
>>
the last three US presidents were of German, Irish, and Kenyan heritage, and all of them are mixed
Canada seems less so though, I know they did receive some Euro immigrants (and from further abroad in recent times) but when I look at the PMs it's all French, Scottish, and English names

Multiracial =/= multicultural

That seems too low for Brazil desu, yeah it's a nation-state and everyone knows Portuguese these days, but it's got a bunch of distinct immigrant communities, plus natives, plus strong state/regional identities. What's the justification for having it so much lower than the US? They seem similar to me.
(also, on the other end, too low for China, which has a ton of minorities and isn't Japan/Korea tier homogeneous at all)

>it's got a bunch of distinct immigrant communities
a bunch of larpers who behave exactly like any other Brazilian person
>plus natives
0.1% of the population
>plus strong state/regional identities
Pronouncing some letters a different way or having a different way of playing accordion isn't a real culture bro
>What's the justification for having it so much lower than the US? They seem similar to me.
In the US there are millions of people who actually speak languages other than English and live secluded in different communities. In Brazil, almost all "immigrant communities" arrived before 1930 and either mixed with locals or were forced by the government to assimilate

Brandon was barely Irish at all, Flumpf is just a reverse engineered Anglo (German+Scottish), and Obunga was half Ulster Scot.

The Kenyan is the only part not from a tiny circle in NW Europe

>0.1% of the population
Also most natives speak Portuguese as first language, live outside of native lands, live alongside non natives and most often you can't even tell they are officially indigenous until they tell you

This
You can be multiracial and still be homogeneously cultural, or you can be monoracial but have wildly different cultures inside
>>
>>18522308
this is arbitrary, it categorizes all the ever so slightly different mayan ethnic groups as each a different culture and thus it names it diversity
by that logic you could also divide germany or spain or even italy into different countries
if its accounting for others, the so called 'non mayan ethnicities' here are 10 people minorities at best with no clear culture, and the mutt eastern part is a latinx shithole
if thats what it calls diversity then sure
