They believe they have no role in america's actions whether in the past or present and american identity is congruent with white people. That's why they say that the government of the country should give them reparations as if they part of a different country, and keep repeating the notion that blacks built america, when anyone part of the national framework would not have to say that in a forced way. The New Deal cut short black nationalism, all of a sudden they had access to white taxpayer money and there was no longer any economic benefit to separatism.
