No. Almost no one who follows a religion knows much about the deeper aspects of it. Christianity is not special in this regard, you just notice it because it's the most popular religion. Most people are born into it and just identify with it, not really caring that much. Or do you think the average poop-throwing illiterate jeet has thoroughly studied the vedas? How about the average inbred muslim who's got a 12-year-old cousin-wife? Nope. They're all ignorant retards, same as the redneck who goes to church on Easter Sunday and then goes to a bar and picks a fist fight.

There's like 1,000 different sects of Christians who interpret the religion differently, a few of them are big, and they view all the other sects as false religions or antichrists and often accuse them of not being true Christians at all and only think their specific sect goes to Heaven.

Catholics are the biggest, they have the pope, and they are the ones that get accused of touching people.
Protestants I think that's the black community in america right? Like every black person in america is protestant? They actually have a different old testament from the catholics.
The Orthodox have those awesome looking churches with idols and depictions of prophets everywhere and they share the same spoon when they do communion which is disgusting to me.
Then you have the smaller versions like Mormonism who believe that some guy from New York found a magic golden book buried in the forest that was written by Jews who were the original native americans. And they own the state of Utah and they are all creepy and highly family oriented. It started with some guy who kept moving to different states and everywhere he went he managed to convert a few more people until he died and they all settled in Utah and had thousands of children and conquered the whole state.
And then you have Jehovah's Witnesses who are also black and don't even talk to non-JWs unless it is to convert you otherwise they tell their families you are evil and Jehovah hates you. It started with a bible study group who didn't interpret the bible like everyone else and they believe YHWH stands for Yehowah (Jehovah) instead of Yahweh like everybody else thinks.

But then Islam is just like two main groups the Sunni and Shia who disagree on the hadith and the Shia's say Ali was supposed to succeed Muhammad and not Abu Bakr, and the shia's are basically entirely just in Iran. And the Perisans to this day are still seething cause they used to be a tough nation but they got defeated by Islam and still crying today.

Islam was founded 6 centuries after Christianity. Its protestant reformation is not due for another 100 ish years, although things are far from peaceful on the infighting front already.

Being Christian doesn't mean you have to be a scholar. You can be an oaf but you're expected to be obedient to the church's interpretations and traditions. The problem is when someone gets it in their head that they understand Christ better than 2000 years of church tradition and that's where the larping starts
