Eve ate the fruit of knowledge first, caused the fall of man from its previous state. A higher state of awareness has its downsides. A greater capacity to worry. Full knowledge of death. A loss of a sort of innocence.Why did women spearhead both self awareness and language developement as related phenomenon? Because their survival depended more on being able to predict the feelings of others, and accommodate them. Make sure your stupid caveman husband doesn't bludgeon you with a rock by anticipating his feelings and responding them to them. Due to inferior physical strength they had an extra incentive towards being able to model the minds of others, which requires complex thought, and which lends itself to communication. The result is self awareness being a female invention they imparted to menI think the coolest idea you can play around with here is what's represented by the story of the Greek Titans. Horrible primevil fathers to the Greek Gods, animalish and brutish and senselessly cruel, eating their own children before being overthrown by the Gods. Imagine these newly self aware women, raising the first generation after awakening and starting to communicate on a new level, still living under the thumb of their non self-aware male mates. Think of them imparting self awareness and the new standard of language to their sons in how they raise them, imparting self regulation and judgement and planning, some nascent sense of right and wrong even. And one day, when they're old enough and strong enough, if they survive being raised under the savage unpredictable tyranny of these stupid monsters, they rise up and kill their fathers to free the community from them.
