>Jews have 7 laws that all goyim need to follow>one of the laws for non-Jews is to believe in and honor the God of the Jews aloneHow does it make sense? One of the laws for non-Jews is to believe in and honor the God of the Jews?>goys cannot worship idolsSo non Jews are not allowed to have their own religions then? Wtf.Lol.
>>18528302Noahides are people who have joined the Jewish faith, but not the Jewish nation. If you don't believe in the Jewish God, then you are not a Noahide. That simple.
>>18528302By definitipon, the God of Noah is not the God of the Jews alone. You can make an argument that JewGod having a favoritism for the Jews yet also claiming jurisdiction over everyone else makes no sense, but Jewgod is only the god of the Jews, and at no point was this ever claimed by anyone.>So non Jews are not allowed to have their own religions then?If the central god isn't Yahweh then no, like in all the other abrahamic religions. Jews actually have some guidelines of what is and is not idol worship for gentiles. They allow for quite a bit of self-expression, just don't make statues of The One True God™ or allege said God is more than one.And in modern times most rabbis relaxed most of those positions.
>>18528302There’s literature on this, you know.
>>18528302Hey I'm a Reform Jew.To make it clear, God is the God of the whole universe, and not just Israel alone. He created literally everything. Therefore he is the God of both Jew and gentile. In the Biblical myth of Noah, the entire world is ultimately descended from him, and his God was the same as the God of Israel. Everyone does have a duty to honor God and worship him alone. With that being said, it is permitted for gentiles to worship other figures as if they were God and not be considered idolaters, like Christians, but it is forbidden for Jews. So for us, Christians don't commit idolatry when they worship Jesus, because they understand Jesus to be identical with the God of Israel. Their intention is to serve the creator whom they recognize. It would be idolatry for a Jewish person, like me, to worship Jesus though or believe in the Trinity. So Christianity is a monotheistic religion, and is not idolatry, but only for gentiles. It is a gentile religion. And that's fine. It is basically a Noahide religion. Christianity has done a great service for the world in spreading ethical monotheism, and this ultimately came from Judaism. So you see, God chose the nation of Israel as his special people, not because we're superior, but because Israel, as the prophet Isaiah says, "will bring justice to the nations." Christianity, Islam, Baha'i, these are all examples of Noahide religions. They all trace their roots back to Judaism, to the Tanakh, to ethical monotheism. As Jews we have a duty to uphold and teach people about ethical monotheism. But we don't convert people to the religion, and we certainly don't seek them. Anybody is free to convert though! Absolutely! But if you don't want to you don't have to. We don't even believe in hell. I personally don't even think there is an afterlife at all except possibly for a resurrection of the righteous in the last day.
>>18530814>because they understand Jesus to be identical with the God of IsraelDo they? How retarded are you?
>>18530824Well yes. As I understand it Christianity comes from Judaism and they believe in the God of the Tankah, which is the Jewish God also.
Those laws arent found in the Torah.
>>18530814You're offering a sterilized version of what jews believe. Jews abandoned the Tanakh (old testament), branding it as allegory, and replaced it with the Talmud. The Talmud is the new jewish law, and states that non jews are like animals and jews can rape non jewish children as young as 3 years old. The Christian faith and Talmudic jews have no common lineage. The only possible similarity between jews and Christians would be the old testament, but as you've stated here:>In the Biblical myth of NoahTalmudic jews do not believe in a literal interpretation of the old testament.
>>18530841>You're offering a sterilized version of what jews believe. Jews abandoned the Tanakh (old testament), branding it as allegory, and replaced it with the TalmudNo they haven't. The Torah is still their primary religious text. The Talmud is literally a commentary and interpretation of the Torah
>>18530845Yes they have, and you yourself confirmed this when you said >You don't believe in an afterlife >Noah story is a myth (Noah appears in Genesis, part of the Torah)Modern jews practice a wholly different religion altogether than Judaism. Kaballah for example would be prohibited by the Torah. It's not the same religion. >
>>18528302to jews, fixing the world means that they rule the world by acting as the living intermediaries between God and everyone else, with everyone else willing slaves in eternal bondage to the jews through their worship of the jew God. its fucked up, and the practice of jew religion should be abolished.
>>18528302vast majority of christian's fail at the first law, according to jews, so I dont know why chabad pushes this meme.
>>18530814>Christians don't commit idolatry when they worship Jesus, because they understand Jesus to be identical with the God of Israel. Orthodox Jews tend to strongly disagree with this interpretation.
>>18530838Most aren't.For example, the prohibition on idolatry is literally unique to the Israelites.God doesn't punish other nations for idolatry in the book, just the Israelites because they break the terms of the covenant he made specifically with them. But it does form part of the New Covenant, made with all nations not just one, so if you want Jesus in your life you can't be an idolator. But a few of them actually do apply to all nations, the prohibition on blood for example is binding on the sons of Noah. But they don't recognize the new covenant, so realistically they have no legal grounds at all to insist that gentiles give up idols. They're trying to hamfist the covenant terms of Moses and Noah together in a way that is nonsensical.

>>18530841The Talmud is a commentary on the Torah, not a replacement of it. It literally cites the Torah for all its claims
>>18532198anything except the ten commandments is unnecessary for jews, and any time a jew breaks any of them they should be killed
