How were South and East Asia so much better able to resist the spread of Islam and Christianity compared to the pagans in Europe and the Middle East?
>>18529595the main answer is that they already had sophisticated native religions and schools of philosophy while European pagans were ooga boogas
>>18529596I mean maybe for Northern Europe, but the Roman religion was quite sophisticated, it had theology and philosophy and everything.
>>18529597>it had theology and philosophy and everything.Which Christianity and Islam successfully incorporated and built upon
xtians were the minority when the roman elite turned the religion into a weapon. So its not that "Pagans" abandoned their ways but were mercilessly killed and hunted down for centuries and millenia. In Japan/China christians were instantly recognized as subverters and isolated and/or killed along with their followers.

>>18529774>>18529775these places don't count they're the retarded asians
>>18529809You're retarded brownoids
>>18529774>>18529775Yeah but even in that case there are still remnants of the old religion, and that's not even looking at places like China, Japan and India. In Europe there's no country that's 10% pagan. It's gone.
>>18529595They both had population centers much bigger than the cradles of the religion of Abraham, one region was too decentralised for missionaries to spread and accepted that god may take their Christian or Islamic form as another avatar of the supreme one, the other region is too centralised and authoritarian to allow missionaries to go far, they had a vague supreme being/force concept and were more concerned with worldly matters and ritual
>>18529597>it had theology and philosophy and everythingThe theology and philosophy was a private matter for each priest or philosopher. They didn't have a dedicated organization that would argue on behalf of and further the interests of paganism as a whole.
>>18529774>>18529775South yeah but east seems untouched by either.
