If your country's governing ideology explicitly demands the subversion and overthrow of your neighbours, why WOULN'T they be hostile torwards yours? Surely you don't have to be a dedicated anti-ideologue to realize this.

Castro wanted ww3 to happen.
>>18530190Whata gotcha.Gold worthy.
>>18530193Crazy how he’s so liked given how he wanted to cause a nuclear apocalypse. He was a man of destruction, because of him Cuba today looks like a war zone.
>>18530190Mostly in response to the USSR trying to subvert the US
>>18530190>countries beg the US to garrison their country as a safeguard against communist subversion and invasion>"uh it's the heckin same as communism fomenting revolutions and promulgating wars, CHUD!"
>>18530190how many of those bases are there by force and cannot be evicted by the host country?
>>18530364Ah yes, the terrifying greenland communists
>>18530385Greenland is exposed to threat by Russia via its access to the North Atlantic via their Arctic ports. Moreover, the US already was the de facto controller of the island since it was seized in WW2 from Denmark after they began collaborating with the Nazis. It was a fairly claimed spoil of war, and the US had no obligation at all to return it to Denmark. They did so as a gesture of goodwill, on the condition the US could maintain a presence there to help safeguard the North Atlantic. US presence in the Atlantic for the past 80 years means that Russia could not brazenly sail its warships and submarines wherever it liked, and this is a fact that I think many Europeans have come to take for granted.
>>18530372None
>>18530160At this point the only reason for the blockade is to satisfy the spite of the Cuban exiles. We really need to deport them back to Cuba and normalize relations.
>>18531366Why? It makes a local diaspora population happy and it wins over votes.
>>18531385Because it’s a waste of money and they can just go back now.
>>18531402>Implying they won’t get jailed as soon as they set foot on CubaThe best thing the US can do is invade Cuba and be done with that whole issue.
Stupid fuck. Cuba follows the stalinist ideology of "revolution in one country".
>>18531672They supported other communists during the cold war and communism itself seeks the overthrow of capitalism worldwide The only way to not be a national security threat is to not be communist at all.
>>18531672Then why did they send thousands of troops to spread the revolution in Africa?
>>18531402>it’s a waste of moneyHow specifically? Remember an embargo isn't a blockade. What specifically is being "spent". Embargo means America doesn't trade with Cuba. Cuba can easily trade with any nation it wants.
>>18531694>we godda invade cuba to stop commies in angola or some shit o algo
