While millennials matured but have a severe dependence on nostalgia, zoomers have this weird, uniquely alien behavior of demoting people's status based on their age alone, mostly due to the fact that they were born into a world of social media and do not remember an era where there wasn't internet, they couldn't read people's profiles, and they couldn't discern the immediate group to put some into instantly after meeting them.They are ending up to be worse than millennials, and more and more of them get outed as pedophiles every day.
They never knew a world without the internet, and thus they grew up being exposed to celebrities and content creators being scrutinized for their past behaviors and were basically indoctrinated from a young age to accept the fact that everything they say and do will be documented and used agains them in the future. It caused them to develop a hyper-fixation on morality and "accountability" any minor indiscretion or any behavior that deviates from the norm is seen as dangerous and immoral and denotes that the individual is a horrible person who must be shunned and outcasted from society. It all stems from a desperate desire to belong to the in-group and not be outcasted themselves.
It's just that they have seen too many predatory relationships. People here like to act like this came from no where but they're just playing dumb.
