I spent all day today researching aerial battles between the United States and Hungary in WWII.It was really interesting for a while, but now that I've spent so much time on it, it really isn't that interesting.This keeps happening with various historical subjects. I keep getting interested in some niche topic, spending an entire day researching it, then when I get enough information I largely lose interest and wonder why I spent so much time and effort on it in the first place.There's really only I think three historical subjects that I've managed to maintain a consistent interest in for years.

>>18538933Eh, it's just fun. I really enjoyed my Late Antiquity and Ancient Greece phase, and after a brief Soviet Union phase (no, I'm not commie), I'm ready for my Korean War phase. I wonder what will catch my attention next, after I've read a dozen of books about it
