Ukraine compensated with its own supply of Western Arms. Both sides have adopted drones in mass, launching strategic air campaigns with them, and use it to stalemate the front into crawling local offensives. The war reminds me of the 80 years war, where the Spanish and Dutch used both new Gunpowder + Fortress Innovations, seasonal atracks and prolonged tit for tat attacks in multiple theatres with foreign countries involved. With a decisive success remaining elusive.
