Which Christian denomination is most likely to give me a gf? I know about the Moonies but they're far too crazy, I'm interested in something more mainstream evangelical.

Are you Korean or Japanese? Seems like an oddly specific thing to reference, plus Moonies aren't even really Christian anyways

No, I just happened to watch a video about them on YouTube. The fact they do random, mass weddings seemed like it would be an obvious answer, but it's not what I'm looking for.

>The fact they do random, mass weddings seemed like it would be an obvious answer,
For most people Moonies are known as weird cultusts but their leader's son moved to America and started his own gun company which is pretty based
>>

Discounting Moonies, Mormons. Both heavily emphasize marriage to a very high degree, Moonies more so with it being central to their theology and their hands on match making which used to be completely arranged, like you didn't find out who your wife was going to be until you show up to the mass wedding level of arranged, but that changed into match making in the early 2000s with the start of the 2nd Gen.

For mainstream Christians, best bet would be Evangelical, Pentecostal, Baptist, or Anabaptist. High church Protestants are almost always very aged. Avoid unless you're looking for a 60 year old GF. Catholic churches are EXTREMELY hit or miss in the community. And Orthodox is just RIP.

I think the guys on those tattoos would condemn tattoos

Get a dude-bro personality going and show up to your local "non-denominational" church. Socialize before/after using Christian conversation pieces.
>>
>>18544770
Orthodox is comparable to Catholic IMO.
>>
>>18546001
OP is better off going to some protestant church. Going the ortholarp route will just compound his problems and create new ones that are avoidable.
>>
>>18546072
Yeah the original church, and not the Non-Denom invented by Pastor Bob is the larp. Ok

Nigga likes robbing the grave no cap.

Dude I know who the Moonies are and I'm a white guy from near Cleveland Ohio.

Do you think he was having a giggle, or just retarded?

im not protestant and i have nothing against the orthodox, but it is the trith. he would be walking into more trouble than its worth, im not going to ramble off about why, others have covered the difficulties of occidental ortholarping many times before
>>
>>18546192
Apparently you do if you use polemical language like that. Which suggests you are a novus dorko larper.
>>
>>18544727
UPCI, trust me on this one.

Let's see:
Excluding a few cults (Moonies, FLDS*, probably some others) and some insular anabaptist sects, no denomination will assign you a wife. Now if you want to meet a woman through church your best bet is a non-denom, evangelical, pentecostal, or similarly constituted church; Mainline protestant churches are all nursing homes, as prior said Catholic churches are very hit or miss with a high chance of failure, Orthodox churches are populated by forty year old Romanians and Babushkas the fundies will probably be too uptight and demand too much for it to be worth it.
Though I think this is abad idea on principle, even if your scheme succeeds you still bagged a woman who fell in love with a lie and doesn't share genuine beliefs, hopes, aspirations, with you.
>>18546076
He's not calling the Eastern Orthodox Church a larp, he's calling trad-ortho converts a larp, which they objectively are. Trad-converts tend to be the worst, but in fairness I just don't hold most current traditionalist catholics (and their offshoots elsewhere) in high regard.

>Pastor Bob
Classist snobbery isn't very Christ-like.
>>
>>18546228
>Oneness Pentecostal
Dammit, it's not mainstream evangelical. I'm okay with it being a weird Protestant denomination, but it AT LEAST needs to believe in the trinity.

I'm Christian, I'm willing to convert denominations but not my core beliefs, that's why I specifically asked for a mainstream evangelical denomination. Anything that doesn't believe in the trinity or has some goofy ideas is not an option, so I'm trying to stay honest.

What about SDA then?

Just go church shopping in your community. Visit one denomination one Sunday, another the next. Stick with whichever one has a community that speaks to you.
