But if you rewind the clock back to the Iran-Iraq War, your entire pretence of Iran being some bulwark against Israeli-American hegemony collapses into a heap when we find the Iranians openly taking assistance, weaponry and intelligence from Israel against Saddam. You cannot escape from this by saying, "Iran was under the Shah, a Western bootlicker back then, retard," because Iran was clearly under one of /his/'s favorites Ayatollah "He's white because he looks like Sean Connery" Khomeini. So you simply MUST concede something here. Either Iran saw Saddam as a bigger Shaytan than Israel and America and thus was prepared to drop its supposed unyielding stance of refusing to ever cooperate with America and the Zionists, or the Iranian arrogance was so bold that they assumed that nobody would ever find out. Either way it completely collapses your assertion that Iran views Israel as its chief and eternal enemy.
