Nordicism is correct and shit. People fixate on Yamnaya when all of their migrations ended in dogshit except in Mycenae, where they contributed only 1/10th of ancestry and the culture was most indigenous of any of the migrations. Tocharians were alright but unremarkable.

Corded Ware was the real wellspring of civilization and the only thing it got from Yamnaya was women. M269 is near invisible in CW lineages

(I realize this was all figured out 5-10 years ago, I'm slow)

tldr;
Skadi, the daughter of Ateas/Thiazi/Tjasse had to flee to the seaking Njord in the north sea when her father lost to the father of Alexander the Great. (Premise for the mythology behind "War of the Rohirrim" movie btw)
This was the obvious location for the last shieldmaiden princess of the royal Scythians/Yamnayans because it had been custom for several thousand years to trade cute horsegirls (plus her horse obviously) from the steppe with sturdy lumberjack sailors from the north sea to maintain peace and alliances between these regions and keep the genepools healthy in both places.
