Saw this and laughed. Who are the worst for petty Wikipedia vandalism, Persian diasporoids or the Chinese?

Wasn’t the term dīn originally a common term for Zoroastrianism, not Islam?

In islamic theology religious law and faith are one and same. My guess is that deen has a double meaning in islam (the law of faith), the iranian definition likely spread to the arab world prior to islam, and suited well to islamic legalism.
Why didnt the iranoids just change it to "iranian and arab origin"? Just comes off as nationalist salt.
